Our founders

Built a solid career across FMCG and banking, rising from P&G to senior leadership at Citibank. Led national retail banking initiatives, built high-performing sales teams, and co-founded Deraya in 2002, growing insurance brokerage in Egypt.

Chairman & CEO

Led significant roles across electronics, FMCG, and banking for 30+ years. Drove regional launches and restructured retail banking programs. In 2002, he founded Deraya, shaping insurance & real estate brokerage in Egypt.

Ashraf Zaki

Chairman & Board Member

Built a career focused on people's development across P&G and Abudawood. Delivered global learning programs across Europe and EMEA, fostered high-performance learning cultures, and became the first Egyptian to earn the CPLP certification in 2010.
